As a leader in the Eagle Regiment Marching Band, I’ve had the honor of performing on some of the biggest stages, including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the New Year’s Day Parade in London. In addition to these incredible experiences, I’ve helped guide our team to become National Finalists at Band of America and supported the band through state championship victories.

Varsity World Guard, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

Throughout high school, I’ve been deeply involved in the Varsity World Guard. Serving in various leadership roles, including Captain, Flag Captain, and Social Media Manager, I’ve contributed to our team’s undefeated state championship streak from 2021 to 2023. A highlight of my tenure was being named a World Class Finalist at the University of Dayton in Spring 2023, showcasing our team’s talent and dedication on a national stage.

Latinos In Action (LIA)

Vice President of Professional Committee & Public Relations Executive

During my time with LIA, I’ve had the chance to connect students with professionals from various fields like education, government, and business. I also tutor elementary school students weekly and help raise funds and supplies for nonprofits supporting first responders, foster centers, and animal shelters. Coordinating monthly meetings and events has been a rewarding experience in bringing our club together and increasing participation.

Caribbean Student Association

Secretary

As Secretary of the Caribbean Student Association, I help plan events and manage the logistics behind our initiatives. I also document meetings and work on projects that provide educational supplies and toys to children in need throughout Caribbean communities. Being a part of this organization has allowed me to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

    National Honor Society (NHS)

    Giving back has always been a central part of who I am. Over the years, I’ve volunteered with organizations such as Women in Distress, the Boys and Girls Club, Cancer Kids First, and In Jacob’s Shoes. My efforts have included tutoring peers and elementary students, raising nearly $1,000, and collecting over 600 items for children in need. I’ve also created and sold artwork to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and participated in South Florida’s largest Destination Dorm collection.

    Genius Bar Peer Tutoring

    I’ve had the privilege of tutoring students in Algebra 1 and Geometry, helping them to strengthen their understanding of fundamental math concepts. Through weekly sessions, I work closely with each student to identify areas where they need extra support, guiding them through problem-solving techniques and building their confidence in tackling challenging topics. This experience has not only allowed me to sharpen my own skills but also reinforced my passion for helping others succeed academically.

    MSD Dance Marathon

    As a fundraising member, I help organize events and sell tickets to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Our team works tirelessly to ensure the success of annual events, such as car washes, where I actively participate in gathering donations and engaging with the community. In addition to securing business sponsorships, I’ve seen firsthand the impact these efforts have on helping children in need receive critical medical care.

    Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

    During my time as a Yoga Studio Assistant, I was responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for students and instructors. I spent time ensuring that the classroom was set up and ready for each session by cleaning the space and organizing the yoga equipment. This role taught me the importance of creating a calm, orderly atmosphere, and I enjoyed contributing to a space where students could focus on their well-being.

    As a member of the TV/Film Club during my freshman year, I participated in various after-school activities that explored the world of television and film production. From engaging in creative discussions to attending events, I gained insight into the production process and learned how storytelling comes to life on screen. This experience helped fuel my appreciation for media and the creative arts.

    Marjory Stoneman Douglas Eagle Regiment Band

    As Guest Coordinator for the Eagle Regiment Band during my freshman year, I was responsible for welcoming and signing in performers and guests at various events. I also assisted in setting up for practices and shows, ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. This role gave me an early opportunity to contribute to the success of our band and strengthened my organizational and communication skills.

  • Front Desk Coordinator

    Tri-County Animal Rescue

    During my time as a Front Desk Coordinator at Tri-County Animal Rescue, I was responsible for answering phone calls and greeting visitors with a welcoming attitude. I also took part in categorizing donations and organizing the storage area to ensure supplies were easily accessible. This role taught me valuable communication and organizational skills, and I enjoyed contributing to the smooth operation of a rescue center that helps animals in need.

    As a Science Classroom Organizer, I assisted my teacher by organizing folders, drawers, and other materials to create a more efficient and accessible learning environment. My work helped streamline classroom processes, allowing both students and the teacher to focus more on learning. This experience taught me the importance of attention to detail and the impact of organization on productivity.

    DANL Dance Company

    From preschool through 9th grade, I dedicated myself to dance, training 10 hours a week in a variety of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro, and lyrical dance. Competing at a high level, I learned discipline, teamwork, and the art of performance. One of the highlights of my experience was performing in the annual Coral Springs Holiday Parade, where I showcased the skills I developed over my years of practice.

    Coral Springs Holiday Parade

    Every year from preschool through 12th grade, I’ve had the opportunity to perform in the Coral Springs Holiday Parade. From dancing with DANL Dance Company in my early years to marching with The Eagle Regiment Marching Band in high school, this annual event has been a special tradition that allowed me to showcase my passion for performance and connect with the local community.
